Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in 1980. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American actress and singer. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish as well as Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled performer from a young age. In 1992, she went to her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was 13 and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. In addition to taking private lessons, she began her acting career at that time. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the role of the lead Dorothy character. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course after graduating. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on her role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut from the film and she was not even in the credits. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and the Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
