Farrah Leni was an American model, actress and artist. Her role in 'The Apostle,' was a major hit for her. Her acting journey began in Texas and was based in Corpus Christi. She has also appeared in TV series including I Dream of Jeannie and The Flying Nun. Her first film performance with a tiny support role on The French movie Love is a Funny Thing. Her name is most well-known internationally for her iconic red pinup poster, which became an instant hit in the history of posters. In the following years she was featured on numerous other TV shows and films which helped to establish her place in the sex industry as an famous figure. Her portrayal of an investigator in the crime-drama show 'Charlie's Angles' was well-loved. The show centered around three women in Los Angeles who work in an agency for detectives. Besides playing glamorous roles in the show, she also gained a reputation for taking up dramatic roles including the one of a battered wife from the TV film 'The Burning Bed.' She was ranked as number 26 on TV Guide's '50 Greatest TV actors of all time'. At the age of 59 her diagnosis was anal carcinoma. She died just three years after her diagnosis.
