Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978, at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is a key member of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. In her work with GI TOC She focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances and other violence of all types in the context of illicit economies. Her research interests also involve the effect of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula has an LL.M. Cum louise (with the highest distinction) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude in Legal Science as well as Social Sciences. Her experience as a lawyer has included four years of practicing with a firm that is specialized in the area of public law litigation. Other past experience includes assisting in non-governmental organisations with their the headquarters located within Rio de Janeiro.
